INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR THE BADGERLAND 44 WINDOW KIT
STEP 1: Place Z channel centered under the window locating the three dimples located on the side
below the window as shown in Fig 1. Then drill out the center hole first and place a push in fastener into
the hole to secure the z channel. After the first one is in drill the next hole approximately 4” in from the
either end of the z channel and place another push in fastener into hole. When done do the same on the
opposite end and secure. NOTE WHEN DRILLING HOLES ONLY DRILL
THROUGH THE FIRST LAYER OF PLASTIC IN THE WALLS.
STEP 2: Place and hold the plexi window on the track as sown in Fig. 2. Then place the second Z
channel on top of the plexi as shown in Fig. 3 with about a 1/8” to 1/4” gap above the window.Then drill
out the center hole first and place a push in fastener into the hole to secure the z channel. After the first
one is in drill the next hole approximately 4” in from the either end of the Z channel and place another
push in fastener into hole. When done do the same on the opposite end and
secure. It should look like Fig. 4 when done.
STEP 3: Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the other two side walls.
STEP 4: When installing the door window use the 22” Z channels provided for the door window and
secure the same as you did in steps 1 and 2.
STEP 5: After securing the door window locate the dimple to the left or right of the bottom Z channel.
After locating drill through the first layer of plastic only and place a push in fastener only half way in the
hole. This will act as a rest for the plexi window when sliding the window open. Repeat the same step on
left or right hole that is not drilled and place another fastener in only half way in again.
