Portable Hunting Blinds
STEP 1: There are 3 identical pieces for the sides take two of the sides stand them upright so the
window is up as shown in Fig. A. Place the two sides together as shown in Fig. A by sliding the
tongue and grove together so they are tight. Take one of the straps provided with the portable hunting
from right to left. If you look at Detail B and feed the strap into hole D then out hole C and then into
hole B and out hole A. When strap is fed through the holes feed the strap through the back end of the
buckle and pull tight. The strap should pull tight and hold, then feed strap through center of the
buckle to secure. Please repeat this step on the bottom set of holes also.
STEP 2: Repeat step 1 with the last panel that matches the two you just put together as seen in Fig.
B and secure with straps.
STEP 3: When assembling the door wall make sure the door is orientated so the door swings inward.
When that is correct slide the tongue and groove together so it seals in both the corners. Then place
straps on as done in step 1.
STEP 4: When installing the roof take the roof and place over the side walls so it overlaps them.
Locate the pre-drilled holes in the roof and take a drill with a 3/16" bit and drill through the pre-drilled
hole through the side walls and door wall. You will always drill the four holes from the outside in.
When that is complete take the pins provided and put them through the holes above the center of the
windows. Detail C shows the holes above the window. When pins are placed in the holes from the
outside in, then secure with cotter pin provided. NOTE: PORTABLE HUNTING BLINDS BY
BADGERLAND HUNTING BLINDS NEEDS TO BE FULLY ASSEMBLED BEFORE ANCHORING TO
ENSURE THAT THE DOOR WORKS PROPERLY.
STEP 5: If anchoring to a platform take precaution and be aware blind may slide off platform until
fastened THIS MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR EVEN DEATH. When using brackets supplied
screw to the side walls first so they are flush with the bottom of the blind wall. The best way to do this
is when the blind is on the ground. If fastening to the ground, screw brackets to the side wall and then
place a rod through one of the holes in the bottom of the bracket. You should use two brackets on the
door side and two across on the opposite wall. The other two walls will only require one bracket on
each. (RODS NOT INCLUDED)
